Currently in the process of writing the last blog for the 103 coast path.
I'm going to be sad to stop this, but at the same time, have lots of potential for a new one as planning some more Ultra stuff for the near future.
Getting input from JediRider for the last blog as we both shared the adventure.
Keep you posted.

Final coast visit prior to the big day
Helllooo there!
I think this may be the last blog before the big day!
I'm sat in my garden in the sun and the 'salty sea dogs' are drying off!
After a week of illness today I finally feel better. I was a well-behaved girly last night and went home early from the party!See, I can do it!
I had a good nights sleep, healthy breakfast, just over an hour of weights at the gym then came back to prepare the van for the dogs.
We drove to Hope Cove and parked up there. I strapped on the dogs via my old climbing harness, it works well as I can be hands-free with them.
Off we went for a tiny coast path walk to South Milton sands. I used to live near this beach, and it was the first place I took Paddy to straight from the rescue kennels so I really have a lot of time for this place.
Paddy also did a massive poo here when Keiley took all the boys out and it floated past a young romantic couple into the sea! haha :)
Anyway, we all had a play in the sea, really choppy today, Murphy spent a lot of time body surfing! That little dog really loves to surf, haha bless!
As I have been told by just about everyone not to exercise this week we stayed on the beach for an hour or so and then walked back along the coast path back to the van, and then home.
It was good for me to get out to the coast again as I've had planning fever! I had to know that my current organising stress levels are all worth it. And the coast chilled me out again.
So a week of getting everything together and then finally the day will be here! *mops brow*
See you all soon

Radio Devon, Tonsils and final planning
I have no pretty pictures on this blog for you I'm afraid.
On Wednesday 18th May I went to the BBC Radio Devon studios in Plymouth so speak to Sophie Pierce, who was sitting in for Fitz on the Interactive Lunch.
I was greeted by the lovely Monica Ellis, made very welcome and taken through to wait to go in.
Sophie was very lovely, it was odd being there with so few people in the studio, as when I went on with John Govier we had a packed studio.
Sophie asked really good questions so I was able to get our story across, including our need for pasties!
I had to laugh, the song she played before interviewing me was 'Maneater" haha, whoa here she comes, watch out boys she'll chew you up! So funny!
Anyway, all was well, and I managed to squeeze in the words 'Nimble Runner' just so that my tweeting friend would donate £10 so all was good.
I'm still on the iplayer until next Wednesday if you didn't catch it and fancy a listen?
Tuesday 17th I took Boxercise, but my gland on the left side of my neck was swelling up. My throat was sore and by 9pm I felt rubbish.
Spoke to the doctor Wednesday morning and it turns out I have tonsillitis. She said to rest and go back if I get any worse.
By Thursday I had got worse and had to receive treatment, so I am currently laid up resting and trying to get better before next week.
Whilst I'm laying in my sick bed I have been making last minute lists and prep for the run.
We can no longer do Exmouth to Plymouth! We have to do Starcross to Plymouth as there is no ferry from Exmouth until 10.30!
The Dart ferry are letting us runners go across for free! Bless them!
I'm going to be emailing the team and support crew a list of what we will all need to bring etc.
If I felt well I would be more excited, another day of rest and I'll be fine *crosses fingers*
Probably only one more update until the event, then there will be a lot to read as I'm taking pictures of the whole run : Epic!
See you soon

Totnes local run
Ok, very quick one as I'm shattered!
No Boxercise tonight so I did a road run to make up for yesterdays Eurovision hangover!
Ran from Totnes to Ashrpington, then decided to go off road and cross country instead of doubling back!
Beautiful run, thoroughly enjoyed it, it took me about an hour, took a lot of pictures and all body parts seeminly ok!
Enjoy the photos of the beautiful South Devon countryside, I loved it.
More running tmrw night, then Wednesday before my Radio Devon interview

Visit to the Devon Air Ambulance
A bit of a different blog this time.
One of the charities that we are raising money for is The Devon Air Ambulance Trust, and they kindly invited me along to meet the team and look at the helicopter.
Received a lovely warm welcome from them when I got there, and we were taken out to look at the helicopter.
I was amazed at how small it is inside, fitting in the pilot and 2 paramedics and patient! It's all perfectly set out in there to accommodate any kind of illness or injury and so organised.
We were told how they work as a team, helping locate patients and then administer treatment in the helicopter. Fascinating stuff, these guys are real heroes in the sky.
Others invited were other fundraisers and also patients who have had to use the Air Ambulance facility.
Amongst them were 2 young boys, twins. Their stories were quite special and has made me realise just how important it is for us to raise money for this charity.
The first boy suffered pneumonia and had to be air lifted to hospital, the boy by all accounts was minutes from death and wouldn't have been there if it wasn't for the ambulance and the paramedics.
The second twin only 3 weeks ago was pushed by his brother from a trampoline and knocked himself out. Due to the remote location of where they live he had to be airlifted to hospital.
3 weeks on and the cheeky little wotsit was on fine form, happy and healthy!
I spoke to their Dad at length about the work of the Air Ambulance and he was very emotional about how they had saved the first twin and was very supportive of our fundraising effort bu doing the coast path run.
As I was having my photo taken with the paramedics and pilot a call came in and off they went to North Devon.
We got to see them prepare and take off!
The smell of the helicopter taking off reminded me of the smell that used to be at Redhill Aerodrome when I used to go and see my Dad at work. It was like having him there with me, like he was saying, that's why your doing this run. I hope it makes him proud.
Back running again tomorrow so more pretty pictures of coast will be on my next blog.
Have a great weekend :)

The Planning part!
No pretty pictures today I'm afraid! (Boo hiss)
I have been working and trying to sort out the logistics of eating/water/clothes and river crossings and find that we are going to need the following help to more easily get through this epic challenge.
I shall be asking firstly the DTS Team after all, it is our challenge even if it's only me running now. So in route order here we go and I hope that some of you can help us out or I think I may go insane!
Exmouth - Ferry to Starcross, nice and easy, time to talk to radio/newspapers etc.
Starcross to Teignmouth - We require some cycle support as there is a lot of road on this section and I don't want to get run over!
Teignmouth - We will need to get across the ferry or have a boat handy for the 3 of us.
Shaldon to Torquay - all ok on this section no requests.
Torquay to Brixham - Cycle support again would be great, just to keep up morale :)
Brixham - We will need to top up camelbaks, eat bananas etc and Debbie changes into trail shoes so a van or car here to help us out would be great, with water, food and my trail shoes.
Brixham to Kingswear - say no more!
Kingswear - Ferry to Dartmouth - support here at the ferry would be good even just for a change of socks and some food (pref pasties all round)
Dartmouth to Stoke Flemming/Strete - all ok, at Strete change into night-time running gear, top up water again if necessary, eat again and install night-time lighting about our persons :)
Strete-Torcross - Cycle support for any night-time cyclists if possible?
Torcross to East Portlemouth - all ok here until we get to east Portlemouth and the ferry will not be running :( we will need to get a lift round to Salcombe for the 3 of us, so any insomniacs out there maybe you could lend a hand? It will be at about approx. 3.30-4am on the Sunday morning! Eeeeeek!
At around Hope Cove we will need food, and change into day running gear again and a top up of water for our camelbaks, anyone with a car/van here would be great please?
Noss Mayo to Newton Ferrers, again we will need a car at this point to take us around so we can then get on the ferry from Newton Ferrers.
We may also need a lift from Bantham to Bigbury depending on the tide.
The last 10 miles - Wembury Beach to the finish Michelle Blackmore will be running with us keeping up the humour, and the last 3 miles Amy will provide yet more humour to keep us going to the end.
Plymouth Hoe is our finish and as many of you that can be there to support us and cheer us in would be amazing.
Oh, and can someone please take our weary bodies back to Totnes afterwards straight to The Bay Horse? Just kidding, we'll need a shower first!
There you go, epic list of wants/needs I really hope that we can get this sorted?
